Buying a share, start to finish

01

Reserve your share

Pick an animal and claim a quarter, half, or whole. A deposit holds your spot and locks in the processor date.

02

Tell us how you like it cut

Fill out your cut sheet online: steak thickness, roast size, ground packaging. No phone tag with the butcher.

03

We handle the middle

We raise the animal to finish weight and deliver it to our licensed processor on schedule. You get updates the whole way.

04

Fill your freezer

Your final price is set by actual hanging weight. Pay your balance, pick up at the processor, and eat well for months.

Come see the farm

The animals, the pasture, and the people raising your food. No stock footage, just our farm.

Our farm, your freezer

We are a small family farm in Brooklyn, Michigan, in the heart of the Irish Hills. For over a decade we have raised a handful of steers, hogs, and lambs each year on pasture, the way our grandparents did. We sell directly to families who want to know exactly where their meat comes from. You reserve a share of the live animal, we handle the processor scheduling, and you fill your freezer at a fraction of grocery store prices.

Why shares?

Small farms like ours can't sell meat by the cut. We can sell you part of the animal itself.

Federal law lets families co-own a live animal and have it custom processed for their own use. That is what a share is: real ownership, honest pricing by hanging weight, and a freezer full of meat that never touched a feedlot or a middleman.
