How pricing works
You pay $5.85 per pound of your share's actual hanging weight, known after processing. Processing (cut, wrap, and freeze) is paid directly to the processor at pickup. Typical cost runs $0.75–$1.10 per pound of hanging weight depending on your cut choices.
Your deposit reserves the share and is credited to your final balance. By reserving, you are purchasing an ownership share of the live animal. That is what makes custom processing legal for small farms like ours.
